Contents hit rate report..

I want to prepare a report to get the information like no. of times content is viewed.

Is this information available any ware in the database?

Please help me on this.

No, we don't store that metric anywhere in the database.

Hit counters are critical to our department justifying ROI of the CMS.  It would be great to have at least rudimentary statistics that come with most all web-hosting software such as IIS or Apache.  Web traffic statistics are invaluable for a marketing team.  Date, time and IP address of the hit would also be good to have.
