Alfresco 2.0 - How to create a new user

Hi,when creating users with ws APIs, this task can be performed calling the AdministrationService.createUsers() method.How can I perform the same task using the core APIs? Should I use the PersonService? Is it enough? I suppose not.Many thanks.Sergio
