Migrate Alfresco user to LDAP user

I stupidly setup usernames inside of Alfresco as the same identifiers they have in our LDAP.  I want to switch the local accounts to LDAP.  How can this be accomplished?Will I have to setup permissions again on all my share sites, etc.?
