Alfresco Share - Internal Server error (Access Denied)

Hi,

I am facing this issue in Share where the Personal dashboard is not loading and throws "Internal Server" error. When this error occurs, users wont be able to search for any documents (nothing comes back in the search results).

The log says Permission denied error on preferences.get.js file. Based on other forums, I checkecd the access to Company Home, Sites folder via explorer and the Group EVERYONE has consumer access to these folders.

This error sometimes occures for admin users as well. I have seen this error in Chrome and IE but FF seems to be working.

Alfresco version 4.0.1

just add your all users or group of users to sites folder in Repository " Login as a administrator click Repository –> Sites –> Manage Permissions –> Add User/Group –> user or group name –> search –> add –> give permission and save and done 😘
