Alfresco 3.0 vs. 3.2

We are in the process of hashing out an Alfresco implementation with an outside consultant.  It was recommended to me today that the system be based on Alfresco 3.0 rather than Alfresco 3.2.  I know that Alfresco 3.2 community has been in use since last Spring/Summer, so I was a little surprised at this recommendation.

Can someone speak to a features vs. stability comparison in 3.0 and 3.2?  Most importantly, we are looking for good CIFS stability/performance, but we don't want to implement a system that is going to be missing a bunch of features.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

We would recommend going with Alfresco 3.2r. It's had significant enhancements and bug fixes. Lots of bug fixes. All the bug fixes from Alfresco Enterprise 3.0 / 3.1 release would be available in Alfresco Community 3.2.

Info the releases can be found here: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Category:Releases
