topic Does a proxy of a folder have the same children as its target? in Nuxeo Forum

I've created a live proxy of a folderish document, and I was expecting to see that the proxy would contain the same children as the target of the proxy, when I examine the documents in the Nuxeo DM user interface.

Instead I see that while the target has a child document, the proxy has no children. From DM I can add a completely separate child to the proxy. However, if I modify a property on the proxy or the target, the change is reflected in the other document.

Is this expected behavior? Are the child relationships for a proxy separate from those for its target?

Yes, this is by design. Proxies of Folderish objects don't proxy their children.
