    <description>&lt;P&gt;I would like, after drag and drop, to force the document type according to criterias such as parent document type.
It seems the doctype can only be defined acording to the MIME type of the file.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;All those behaviours are implemented via File Manager plugins. See &lt;A href="https://doc.nuxeo.com/x/K4MlAQ" target="test_blank"&gt;https://doc.nuxeo.com/x/K4MlAQ&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;By default the "File" type is chosen for default type when it cannot be matched to a picture a sound or a video or a Note. Locally it is possible to choose another document type (see local preferences). If you want to change the global behaviour you will have to deploy a new custom file manager.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
