Notification when documents are created in sub-folders

Hi,

when a user wants to be notified of modications and creation for a folder, he's not notified then docs are created or changed in sub-folders, is that right ?

Is there a way to change this ?

Yes, you can create an event handler with studio, and create an operation chain that send an email.

And you create your own button to set into the document the username into a list that stores user registered to your stuff.

If you want to remove default contribution on click you can also look this.
