Nuxeo diff

Hi, Does Nuxeo by default support diff operation for Ms-docs/pdf etc. I see compare versions in archived versions, what type of documents are supported in the diff version option.How is this diff different from the marketplace addon diff.

Nuxeo supports diff operation for MS Office docs / PDF if you install the nuxeo-dm addon (which includes the diff addon since Nuxeo 5.8). As for the version diff, it is the same as comparing 2 documents in a folder, it supports any type of document in the Nuxeo sense, and the usual content types for content diff (MS Office / LibreOffice / PDF / text content / ...). The diff option you see in the archived versions tab is included by the diff addon (again, now itself included by the nuxeo-dm addon).
