Can we have the tomcat manager added to the nuxeo installation and how can we do it ?

You will have to configure conf/Catalina/localhost/manager.xml for using webapps/manager.

In case of any doubt, the easiest way would be to download a Tomcat 6.0.35 and configure the manager following the Tomcat documentation. If you succeed, then the same procedure should work on Nuxeo too. Else, fill a issue on Jira.
