Offline / Detached client

Hi,

Is there away to have a local copy of a part of a repository that is accessible while offline?

The usage is the following:

At some point, the "client" connects to the Nuxeo server and copy a part of the repository locally
The client then goes offline (no internet connection, like laptop) but can still browse local copy (either with file explorer or other client), but cannot modify content
The next time the client goes online, can fetch updates and apply them locally
