sync with existing folder

hello,

is it possible to sync Asset Library with an existing folder on the server containing our pictures collection ?

We have to keep the "tree" and that every changes made on this folder to be visible on the library.

Hi,

There is no direct way to do such a thing, because most of the time our customers use a CMS platform such as Nuxeo to get rid of the "network drive issues" such as managing versions, easing searches... By trying to get back to a folder structure only (without the UI), you loose all the advantages again.

However here a few ideas worth trying:

If your user most of the time access a subset of the assets, they can use Nuxeo-drive.([http://www.nuxeo.com/products/drive-desktop-sync/][1]
Some customers also recreated a synchronized folder somewhere using some CMIS clients that are designed to do that.
