topic Fonts issue in PDFs exported from Nuxeo DM? in Nuxeo Forum

Hi All,

Has anyone observed this problem and can determine what is going on here?

In Nuxeo DM 5.5 I have imported an ODT document created with LibreOffice 3.4.6. The document features a commercial font family I have purchased from fonts.com (the Sun font family in particular).

In Nuxeo DM, I export the ODT as a PDF (figure 1 in the attached). When the PDF is opened using Evince, the font is not embedded, instead defaulting to the Liberation Serif font on my Ubuntu 10.04 x86 system (figure 2 in the attached). Figure 3 illustrates the exact same ODT as exported as a PDF using LibreOffice 3.4.6 on the same system: the font appears correctly and is embedded in the PDF.

Short story - PDF export from Nuxeo is not behaving as I would expect it to.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Dave
