    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi everybody,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;just so anybody else&amp;nbsp;having the same problem does not waste the same amount time.....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;after trying to manipulate response headers for 2 days to have static resources cached via ssl, we discovered that the problem was in the certificate used in the tests.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We found out&amp;nbsp;that browsers do not like self signed certificates and do not cache anything. We used&amp;nbsp;a "regular" certificate and got normal browser caching behaviour.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;bye francesco&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
