Custom advanced searh problem

Hi, we are facing the following issue:
if we upload a document via bulk import or manually it is searchable via custom advanced search on metadata while, if we upload a document via an external tool using CMIS the same document with the same metadata is not searchable via custom advanced search.

Alfresco version is 23.4 while external tool use java 1.8 and opencmis 0.8 library that are too old.

The problem seems related only to the custom metadata because if we search the document usign cm:name with all the custom metadata empty than it is searchble but once only one custom metadata is populated it become unsearchable.

We suppose and incompatibility between oldest cmis library and the new alfresco 23.4. The same external tool works very well on alfresco 4.2.
