This addon provide a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) for those who do not want to rely exclusively on password strength on public exposed servers. One-time tokens are generated offline e.g. with a 3rd party app on your smartphone.

this addon only works with local users; not with ldap-users.

But it increase the security if you use it for the alfrescoadministrator.

Hi,

I would say that this comment is not accurate (in my experience).

When syncing LDAP users, it is true that a synced user does not see the TOPT link in the profile page.

But, the corresponding pages for activating TOPT such as /share/page/user/ldapusername/totp-settings are accesible. And they may be enabled by users and admin users.

yes you have right. i had problems with my testserver.
