Hi everyone,

I have a system running Alfresco Enterprise 7.2.x, and I want to migrate the system's database to another server. I would like to ask if this will require the Solr index to be rebuilt?

Hi,

another server means that you move the DB to another server or are you going to change the DBMS as well, I mean from Postgresql to MariaDB for example?

If you just move the DB to another server, you don't need to re-index.

If you change the DBMS I think that you don't need a re-index too, if you keep all the data (especially the various id) exactly the same.
