PKIX path validation failed following certificate update

Following certificate expiration on Alfresco and Solr – the certificates were upgraded using generate_keystores.sh

We are now seeing the following error in the logs

Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: signature check failed

What else needs to be updated ?
