<title>topic Db pool and max_connections for clustered instance in Alfresco Forum</title>
    <link>https://connect.hyland.com/t5/alfresco-forum/db-pool-and-max-connections-for-clustered-instance/m-p/137570#M36881</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;We are using enterprise 7.1 version of ACS with mysql DB. We have 6 nodes in cluster and 3 non-clustered nodes for bulk uploading data. So total 9 nodes working under single DB. Each node has 300 DB pool and 150 max threads at tomcat level. What should be max_connection number on the DB side? Should it be over 300 X 9 i.e. 2700+ ? Also will it help to increase tomcat threads on each instance for faster connections and bulk uploads?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
