topic License on community edition with docker in Alfresco Forum

I have a question and I can't find information about it anywhere,
I have installed the community version with docker-compose
In the docker-compose.yml file, in the comment section, it indicates that I must add a free 30-day license to it, or that in 2 days it starts working only in read mode.

Is the community version not free? Does it need a license then?

Thank you very much, regards

Community Edition doesn't require a 30-day license to be used. This only applies to Enterprise. The license you need to take care about is LGPLv3 when uning Community Edition, apart from that there are no additional restrictions.

ok, thank you very much, so I understand that it has to be a generic message inside the docker-compose file, to be informed in case of changing the edition,

All the best.
