Adding aspect causes error "Failed to validate model update - found non-incrementally updated TYPE

Hi,

I have define a custom model that I just modified by adding an aspect and then modifying my type by adding element mandatory-aspects. However, when I try to deploy the updated model, I get this error. Could someone please educate me on how can I go about getting Alfresco to accept the change? I have looked through many posts but unable to quite grasp the "how".

Notes:

1. I am very new to Alfresco and following instructions in a training course

2. I am using the Alfresco MVN SDK to manage the build of the deployment containers and I don't yet understand what's happening behind the scenes.
