Alfresco Content Services Community: 7.2.1 with SAML Integration

Hello All,

Recently, We received a request to use Alfresco Community Edition 7.2.1xx with the SAML sso module. Alfresco only supports Enterprise Edition with SAML integration.

My customer is using Azure AD for SAML for other applications and they want us to use the Azure AD for SAML SSO.

Are there any add-ons(amps) available for SAML integration with MS Azure AD where we can configure SSO in alfresco global properties file or as a saml subsystem?
I mean similar feature have in Alfresco Enterprise Edition.

I read about the keycloak integration - https://github.com/Acosix/alfresco-keycloak where keycloak server needs to be installed.

As per my understanding, keycloak needs integration with LDAP AD for SSO which we do not want.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and feedback.

SAML module is not supported for community version. This means that you are left with no options rather to use Keycloak and what's needed for it to work. Acosix's Keycloak is one of the options to start with.
