System Binding- Only through authorized system/laptops user can access the dms(Alfresco)

Due to corona pandemic more then half of our employees are working from home. Currently using vpn they can access the dms .. But if they share their credentials with others then others also can access the dms.

We have provided laptop to everyone who is working from home. Our requirement is that ,only through the laptops that has been provided by the organization to the employees. Dms can be accessed through those laptops only ..

Is there any kind of binding between the laptop and dms that is using only those laptops dms can be accessed.

Please help if any possibility is their.

Hi @akash251998

This is not really an Alfresco question - more IT networking and security I would imagine. That said you could probably whitelist VPN access by device IP/subnet or similar approach.

You can issue certificates to these employees with private keys stored on these laptops and configure HTTPS proxy server to require certificates on the client side. For example: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/ssl/ssl_howto.html#accesscontrol
