Alfresco Transform Services zip for Alfresco 6.2.0 zip installation

Hi Everyone,

I have Alfresco Community Edition 6.2.0-ga distribution zip installed and running in my Windows system. I am not been able to preview files or see thumbnails in Alfresco Share. Also where can i find the download file for Alfresco Transform Services for this version of Alfresco?

The Alfresco Transform Services is an Enterprise-specific component. It is not available for Alfresco Community Edition nor is it compatible with it if you somehow got it, as Community Edition is missing the required components to actually work with it.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. So if it only available for the Enterprise users, then do you have any solution on how to get the thumbnails and file preview in Community Edition?

Hi @Milishah

Thumbnails & document preview should work on community. I'm running Alfresco Community (Docker) on a Mac & these are working ok.

Wordxsls, ppt & image

Is ImageMagik & LibreOffice working correctly? Is there anything in the log files?

Thank you for your reply. ImageMagick and LibreOffice are installed correctly. Also i was able to resolve the issue for the Image thumbnail along with the pptx, pdf, docx, txt file thumbnails. Currently i am facing the following two issues:

1. I am not able to see the thumbnail for the xlsx files, even though the logs in the server shows "Transformation was successful".

2. I added some documents before resolving the thumbnail issue. Now after resolving the issue i am not able to see the thumbnails of those documents uploaded before. Only able to see the thumbnails for the new uploaded documents. I am getting the following error:
