How to remove RSS Feed completely from alfresco community 5.2.

Hello -

How to remove RSS feed reference from all alfresco pages like wiki, blog, document library, links, discussion, my / site activities dashlets? Is there any service which need to be disable in global.properties?

Hi @np

You just have to override my-activities.get.js and site-activities.get.js and remove rss action from the config options.

Furthermore, override documentlist_v2.lib.ftl and remove documentListViewRssAction markup

I am not aware of any OOTB configuration.

Does this only removes it visually or it removes the functionality also?

And if it's only visual, is there a way to remove the functionality itself?

correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not think there is any build-in RSS feed functionality in Alfresco. Those dashlets were just a user-friendly way of accessing external URLs with RSS feed.
