Im using an older version of alfresco (4.2) and our alfresco is used by internal & external client users as well. Clients sometimes complained that the files in excess of 2gb fail to upload or alfresco gets stuck. When I asked one of the guys who worked on alfresco intergration & testing, he said during testing he noticed that files upto 2.3 gb are uploading but anything over that causes issues. He further said end users should consider this fact that which web portal in the world would allow you to drop a 2gb+ file like that. Its just not the right way. just Sharing an experience

Helly everyone, I am using Alfresco Community Version 6.0.a (Dockerized). I am uploading about 12000 folders with the file size of 2 GB ,consisting of general Word documents. The problem is when i upload these folders my alfresco crashes and stops responding. However when I uploaded 4000 folders, it took 4 hours for updation. Can someone help me with this issue and tell me why Alfresco is taking so much time for updation?

Your help will be highly appreciated

Regards,

Syed Junaid
