Content Server in active / active mode setup - for headless

Hello All,

I am new to Alfresco and need to know, can i setup alfresco content server on active / active ?

please note: it is not about frontend services or application in active / active, core content server or services. reason to ask, have requirement where i need to use content services or server like alfresco in headless mode and having heavy traffic of CRUD operations, so want to make sure that content server is capable enough to work in active , active mode to serve the requests

any suggestions , pointers any article on alfresco to provide such support will be useful

This is not supported for Community Release.

For Enterprise Release, you have different configurations available (including active/active with 2 nodes): https://docs.alfresco.com/6.2/concepts/cluster-overview.html

I need more inputs to clarify my dobts.

further to URL you gave, I found 2 additional URL

above is useful for small scale, in my scenario I have millions of transactions in a day during peak hours..

Now my confusion is, I am not going to use Share app of Alfresco, I will be using as headless and still it is more on app server level clustering, correct me if my understanding wrong.

Where do i find clustering on content services ? like below mentioned

Not sure what you mean, the link I gave you describe the options for clustering the Repository side. Nothing to see with Share...

I mean or going 1 level down to know how cluster can be setup based on shared useful URL by you, where share application is in cluster mode.

as I said, I am new to alfresco so wanted to clarify - sharing below URL which i see useful, Node 1 to 4 having share deployed and in my case i will not use or required to use share application.

You can use that configuration without Share. It's the same thing.
