Aspect Inheritance from Model Manager

Hi everyone,

I have created one model and it is having two aspects.

Aspect 1 ---> Property 11, Property121

Aspect 2 (Parent : Aspect1) ---> Property 22

Properties of Aspect1

Properties of Aspect2

Why properties of Aspect1 is not visible in the list of Aspect2's properties. When I tried to add aspect2 on the doc, aspect1 is not getting added on that document. Same thing is working when I created model in sdk as an xml file.

Can you please help me with this.

Even though they are not visible, did you run the layout designer for aspect1?

Hi,

I tried to run layout designer for aspect1 and aspect2 both. Document on which aspect2 is added, When I set value for property of aspect1, aspect1 is also getting added on the document(checked it from nodebrowser). But in the model manager I cannot see properties of aspect1 under aspect2.

I am still quite sure what you are asking. Is Aspect1 properties and Aspect 2 properties both being applied to the document.
