Unable to access the share URL after installation

Hi Everyone,After installation of alfresco 6.1.2 with tomcat and postgres. Are you able to access alfresco ? As per the log, both share and alfresco should be accessible at port 8880

Alfresco: http://localhost:8880/alfresco

Share: http://localhost:8880/share/page

If you are not able to access any of the above URLs can you please confirm if using docker ? if yes, can you share docker-compose.yml file ?

The log given does says that the share.war was deployed successfully.

Not using the docker installed manually. I am unable to access both the urls.

Oh sad to hear that, you are not able to access the URLs. If its a local machine and you are trying to access the URLs from the same machine's browser then it should be accessible. Try 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost. Also check the host file to see if there is any mapping with localhost causing any issue.

Installed in VM. checked the ports are enabled and host entry also looks fine.

cat /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
::1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

IP hostname

Not sure where it went wrong. is there anything needs to be modified inside war??

Also not able to get the response from curl internally

Seems like the problem with network as far as i can think. Generally fixing the host file or any blocking firewall configuration should fix the issue.

Have you checked catalina.out log to see what you get when trying to access the share/alfresco ?

Try re-installing again or install to a different machine. Or try changing a port which you know that works already.

I tried reinstalling with a different machine with port 8080 but still, I am unable to access the URLs.

After accessing the URLs from browser it is not writing any log in Catalina.out
