Indexing content only working if file uploaded in share

When I upload a file I expect that the content is indexed and I can search the content. This works fine if I upload the file from within Alfresco Share.

When I use CMIS, webdav or Bulk filesystem import tool, only the metadata gets indexed but not the content.

I could not find a solution for the issue.

It is easily reproduceable using docker community deployment in version 6.2.0-ga

Is everything else the same? same content type, folder, etc.?

Also - can you confirm the values of these aspects?

For the document added via Share Upload and the one with CMIS.

Yes. everything is the same as I can see. All meta data looks identical.

However, even when I delete Solr data to force a reindexing, the content gets only indexed for files which I uploaded using the Share GUI.

Can you view the objects in the nodebrowser, and post a snapshot here? One for the object that is being indexed properly and one for the object that is not?

Also can you tell me what search query you are using to search for these objects?

I have the same issue with webDav or CMIS

Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS

alfresco 6.2 with Docker-compose

I have the same issue with Alfresco 7.0

search query : a word in the content.

Hi all,

anyone has a solution for this issue? I have the same problem When upload content through alfresco share the metadata and content are indexed.

When I upload content with CMIS everythin is loaded but if I search for it I have no result.
