Upgrading Alfresco 4.2.e Community Edition

Hi everyone!

I Would like to get some help concerning the upgrade from Alfresco 4.2.e Community Edition to the latest Alfresco Content Services Community edition 6.2 GA.

I am stuck as I don't know the upgrade path.

I am using this version:

Can I directly do the upgrade? or according to this documentation page upgrade first to 5.1 then to CE 6.2 GA?

Your help would be appreciated.

You should always check the upgrade paths for the latest versions on all the major versions up until your target. So in your case, that would be 5.2 upgrade path and 6.2 upgrade path . Usually, it is a good idea, to go to the latest version of your current major release first, so for 4.2.e, you should first go to 4.2.f, then 5.2.g, then 6.2.0 GA.

I will upgrade as you said (4.2.e > 4.2.f > 5.2.g > latest).

I am now doing the 4.2.f upgrade!.
