Alfresco SDK4.0 or Alfresco Content Services 6.1 JUNIT test cases

Hi,

In SDK 3.0 we have embedded tomcat, alfresco content services, DB and search services (Solr).
using 'alfresco-maven-plugin we able to test developed code with JUNIT.

In SDK4.0 there is no such feature/plugin to test the code (without docker).

can anyone help me on this.

There is a different between plain JUNIT test cases and Integration test cases. You can develop/test Junit test cases in either of the SDKs. Role of application server comes into play when you want to perform integration tests. In SDK3.0 we have embeded tomcat which you can use to run your integration tests. In SDK4.0 everything is same as SDK3.0 except execution of tests. when you use SDK4, It launces a docker container to run your tests.
