On every restart of tomcat I get such an error printed twice:log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.java.io.FileNotFoundException: alfresco.log (Permission denied) at java.io.FileOutputStream.open0(Native Method) at java.io.FileOutputStream.open(FileOutputStream.java:270) at java.io.FileOutputSt

Remaining untouched appenders, log4j.properties or custom-log4j.properties, and using /var/log/alfresco instead of $TOMCAT/logs

It is clear that alfresco user need permissions under /var/log/alfresco

Hi!

1. I don't have alfresco.sh in my alf_data or anywhere in the system.

2. There is "You can change your log4j.properties for alfresco.war, share.war, or solr4.war applications (and manager and host-manager too) but..." in that tip. I do this, I can see that logs files, but get errors in catalina.out.
