Issues recovering deleted folders

I have deleted one of the folders in the repository by mistake.

I have tried to recover it from the recycle bin but I got the following message: "Wait. The files are being recovered...", but then I get another message saying: "Cannot recover folder (x)".

I have tried reindexing but it did not work and restoring from backup is not an option.

Any ideas, please?

Which version of Alfresco are you running & what is your environment? Also, is there anything in the alfresco log files?

Hi @Jaime-1,

This sometimes happens when a repository operation (in this case restoring the folder) takes longer than the set Share-Alfresco communication timeout. So, this is usually a client side error, it doesn't necessarily mean that the operation itself has failed.
