You might have better luck getting help over at the project's GitHub page:

https://github.com/OrderOfTheBee/alfresco-pdf-toolkit

But, as the readme on that page says, no one is actively maintaining that project.

Luckily, the source code is all there for you to debug. When you fix it, please create a pull request so that others can benefit from your work.
