Hi prabu,

When you upload files into Alfresco, some events are fired to extract the metadata and content of documents. After that, the indexing module, solr, creates indexes of each data extracted to search by them in the future.

if you want to search by content of pdf,you have to be sure that pdf content is type text and no type image. If you have pdf of type image, you will have to transform in pdf of type text using a OCR process.

Keensoft has shared an Alfresco addon to transform pdf of type image in pdf of type text.

GitHub - keensoft/alfresco-simple-ocr: Simple OCR action for Alfresco

If my proposal is not usefull for you, reply me, please.

Regards,

Sergio.
