Get custom type constraints via JavaScript API

Is that possible to retrieve list of allowed values for any custom type via JavaScript API ?

Hi:

I think it is not possible "by default", although sometime I read that it's possible to extend JS API for getting this info.

Here you have some guidelines for checking your content models (but not in Javascript API)
