There are various blog posts out there&amp;nbsp;detailing the node and content lifecycle, &lt;A href="https://blog.dbi-services.com/understand-the-lifecycle-of-alfresco-nodes/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;like this one from dbi&lt;/A&gt;. In short: Alfresco by default never deletes file on disk - that is a job left to the system administrator to set up, i.e. via a CRON job.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
