    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The error message indicates the system is looking for an LDAP server named domaincontroller.company.com.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your ldap-auth props file has the naming provider URL, although in the file you attached it just says IP&lt;img id="smileytongue" class="emoticon emoticon-smileytongue" src="https://connect.hyland.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.png" alt="Smiley Tongue" title="Smiley Tongue" /&gt;ort, so I don't know if that's the real one you are using (seems unlikely) or if you changed it prior to uploading.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In any case, it is different than what the error message indicates, so I suspect you don't have your file in the right place and Alfresco is using the default.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Where are you putting that file? It should go in the proper subsystem structure in $ALFRESCO_HOME/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/subsystems/Authentication/ldap-ad/ldap-ad1. Alternatively, you could just copy all of those LDAP properties into your alfresco-global.properties file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
