Where to place the alfresco license file in 5.2

We are facing an issue, wherein the alfresco goes to read only mode. After checking it shows that the license has expired. But it is not true, the license didnt expire. We tried to download the license key from support page and tried to upload through Admin console. It got activated and applied. Aft
