Am following Activiti v5 Complete Developer Guide 's SimpleLeave-Process process app.I am following as they dictate but they do not have the proper documentation in that book to run properly this very first process.i have attached all the required files to help your understanding my difficulty .org.

Hi,

Based on your stacktrace ... check source code here:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.activiti.designer.test.ProcessTestMyProcess.startProcess(ProcessTestMyProcess.java:28)

and classpath here:

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.slf4j.impl.MessageFormatter
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:381)

Check exact versions (and compatibility) of logback*.jar & sl4j on your classpath.

Hi Jan,

Many thanks first of all .I was looking for the exact version and compatibility as you suggest but no luck so far actually at least in the internet for same version of logback core ,classic and the same slf4j jars . It would be great if you suggest the version at least or if you have them ,could you please provide ?It would be really helpful for me as i got stuck with it for many time since .
