Is this Community or Enterprise ? ACS 5.2.0 implies Enterprise, so you should also contact Alfresco customer support (if you haven't already) who can help to expedite your query.

Please note: "Reset Password" REST API was introduced in ACS *5.2.1*. This is also noted in the API Explorer:

=> Note: this endpoint is available in Alfresco 5.2.1 and newer versions.
