When searching for the alfresco-global.properties file on an instance running Docker. I see multiple files with this name. Which one should be edited for LDAP authentication?

IMO, the better approach is to extend official Docker Image to include your customisations.

Adding configurations to alfresco-global.properties can be done in this way:
