Hello All

I have following authentication problem.

I have users defined in access groups in external directory service. We have SSO in our organisation, so user is already authenticated when they use alfresco. I configure these groups in tomcat property:

core.groups=<group name>

but they need to be additionally created in alfresco, as I am getting error:

09270152 User does not exist in Alfresco

Is there a way not to add manually every single user? And let Alfresco create them as they login for the first time?

I will appreciate any suggestions.

Regards

Krzysztof

Hi:

I'm not sure about this property in Tomcat, but when using SSO (via external, kerberos/SNPGO or passthru/NTLMv1) in Alfresco, a syncronization of users (from LDAP/AD) is normally needed. In any case, once the user is auth by an external subsystem, Alfresco is creating user accounts according (create.missing.people=true and synchronization.autoCreatePeopleOnLogin=true)

Authentication subsystem types | Alfresco Documentation

Regards.

--C.
