Hi,I am importing scanned documents into Alfresco Community, there are about 1500000 documents and we are proposing to use the latest community release.Could you suggest the best way to import the documents and apply metadata?I am exploring the bulk utility tool... is it the best approach?Please gui

Hi:

Yes, it is a good approach for migrating documents and their corresponding metadata (generating the xml files). It is besides much faster than a custom CMIS based migration procedure, that it could be another option.

Hi,

I ran bulk uploaded successfully with this Bulk Import Tool | Alfresco Add-ons - Alfresco Customizations add-on.

Our client prepared the CSV files, then I convert it to XMLs.

This XML will be paired with file to be uploaded. And it works!
