Dear Alfresco,

I'm a bit confused whether JOD converter is supposed to work on the Community version or not....

- From this page, it seems it was supported in Alfresco Community 4.2.x

- From this thread, it seems it was never supported - https://community.alfresco.com/thread/214716-jodconverter

- The JOD library is open source on GitHub - Alfresco/alfresco-jodconverter: JODConverter automates document conversions using LibreOffice/OpenOffice.org

- The Alfresco Community 5.2.0 classpath (WEB-INF/lib) includes jodconverter-2.1.0-alfresco-patched.jar

I'd really like to use it, instead of randomly killing the soffice process, as proposed as alternative in the thread above.

Hello.

The Alfresco opensource version of JOD Converter works with Alfresco 6.0, by default, but I know that Peter Löfgren‌ has back ported it to 5.2.
