    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm trying to configure CIFS to work in my Alfresco, but my server name is "Ncednobregadac" :shock:&amp;nbsp; and I think there is a limitation in windows as to the number of characters is there any work around for this case or do I have to use the "_A" after the servers name?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I didn't want to change the servers name as it would have other implications and I'm just trying out Alfresco for the moment.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm using Windows 2000&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;And the&amp;nbsp; alfresco-1.3.0-windows-community.exe installation package.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm hoping to get the CIFS feature to work…&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Danilo&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The default file-servers.xml configuration uses the Windows server name + '_A' so that it generates a unique name on the network. You could just change the &amp;lt;host name="…" value to a shorter name, as long as it is unique on your network.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The NetBIOS name is limited to 15 characters, the 16th character indicates the service type.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Cheers&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Gary&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
