It's not any kind of app that might consume on top of a repository.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The web client is a little bit of a strange guy.&amp;nbsp; It is kind of a management console, kind of a end user application for creating and managing content.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;you can create any kind of app you want on top of alfresco.&amp;nbsp; for one you can define your own level II model if the current one does not suite.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;A portal can easily sit on top of alfresco.&amp;nbsp; many portals today are looking to support the JCR spec.&amp;nbsp; alfresco will fit nicely in to this space.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I confess I still do not know what you mean when you say Customer Portal.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
