Error in notify_user_email.ftl

I have not been able to make the default template work. I have set up an inbound rule to trigger this notification email and got the following error. I wonder why that is?I got an email in my inbox so it was apparently was sent but the error seem to create quite a time-out (the page took at least 30

Perhaps one ore more document have no document.name, only a document.title. You should change it.

Interesting. The email template called notify_user_email.ftl actually did not had the Title attribute set. However, I entered one and still no change. I wonder why the invite-template works but the not the notification one?

Any more suggestions?

The problem is not obvious. Basically one of the email templates 'invite_user_email.ftl' should be used via the Manage Space Users or Manage Content Users screen - as it provides a slightly different model to the template. The model contains some additional root object 'role' which is the role name for the user who has been given the new permissions on a node. The model does NOT contain some of the other objects you might expect to have for template execution - 'document' is not available.

The other template 'notify_user_email.ftl' should be used when setting up an email rule to notify users that a new document has been added to a space. The usual template model available when this rule executes, so 'document' is available.

Ok…I think I understand. I tried to set up a notification rule but did not really got it to work. I found an actioon called "Send email to users" but could not see any condition which had to do with new or modfied documents in a space….

New/modified documents are not defined using conditions,
they are defined by the rule type (Step Three of the rules wizard) i.e.

Inbound rules are for new
Update rules are for modified
Outbound rules are for deleted or moved
