Configuring Dynamic Models in 2.9 'per Tenant'

Good afternoon allI have been trying this Dynamic Model feature of the 2.9C Alfresco version and as far as I have tried works fine.I am able to change my Model configuration without restarting the Alfresco Server application. Yes, this should work OK for 2.9.0, 2.9.0B and 2.9.0C-dev (nightly builds).

All tenants will inherit models that are created by the super admin (ie. 'admin').

If you wish to create tenant-specific models, then you can create them using the tenant admin (eg. 'admin@mytenant')

Hi Janv

Thanks a lot for clarifying me this dout. I have tried it in my last nightly built 2.9C dev and works fine for each of the tenants I have created.

One more question I have now is… would it be possible to customize the icons of the web client for each of the tenants I have created? I think if 2.9C does not support this feature, would be nice to include it in a future release or nightly build.

Although I haven't tried this myself, it should be possible by customising the Web Client UI (for a given tenant) and changing the appropriate image paths.

Note: all required icons would need to be available under the alfresco webapp and hence may need to be pre-installed (eg. via an AMP).

Thanks a lot for yor help. I have tried what you have explained to me and worked fine!!!!. Sorry could not reply before, I took a month of vacations (really needed them )

But now I would like to go forward. What I would like to test is the way of changing the Alfresco logo in the top-right corner in the screen, by the logo of the "virtual company" I have created a tenant for. I mean I would like each tenant to be able to show their company logo, no just new folder icons and also include that company logo in other places in the screen.

I know that this can be done in version 2.1, by replacing the logos in tomcat\webapps\alfresco\images\logo folder, but I guess if I do so in 2.9 I will be replacing the logos for all the tenants, which is not what I pretend to get.

Could you help me with this? If this is not possible I think would be a nice feature to be included. What do you think?
